Roadmap for the Novice Infection Preventionist
What was it? Prior to development of the Roadmap, no consistent training structure existed for infection preventionists. The Roadmap established skills and knowledge the IP must develop or obtain before seeking certification.
Development: I worked in collaboration with other instructional designers and a team of infection prevention experts. Together, we analyzed certification requirements and reverse engineered a path to those requirements. Each stage built upon a previous stage and provided a recommended timeline.
